Founded by Dr. Chanel R. Fields, a seasoned educator and leadership coach with over 15 years of experience in both campus and district roles, The LevelEd Up Leader began as a passion project rooted in a single question: What if we could build systems where every leader felt equipped to succeed—and every student felt like they belonged?

Our history
The LevelEd Up Leader was born from a deep belief that every school deserves strong, visionary leadership—and that real transformation starts at the top.
Dr. Fields’ journey started in a 7th grade English classroom in Louisiana and expanded across the country through her work with the Texas Education Agency, the Kentucky Department of Education, and national nonprofits focused on educational equity. Along the way, she saw firsthand how leadership gaps and misaligned strategies could stall school improvement—even with great intentions and dedicated educators.
In response, she created The LevelEd Up Leader to fill that gap—partnering with schools and districts to build strong leadership pipelines, align strategic planning, and drive measurable outcomes through a lens of equity, clarity, and collaboration.
Our team has supported dozens of school systems in reimagining leadership, building stronger teams, and turning strategy into sustainable impact.
